Last year, the US Catholic Bishops began a three-year journey called the “National Eucharistic Revival.” The goal of the Revival is to deepen our encounter with the real presence of Christ in the Holy Eucharist. That encounter will lead us to be sent on mission for the life of the world. As a way to participate in the Eucharistic Revival in our parish, Deacon Colin will be hosting an evening catechesis on the Holy Eucharistic on Thursday, November 9th . This talk will be about 45 minutes in length and will take place at 7pm in the church here at St. Anne’s. The talk will touch on the reasoning behind, and goal of, the National Eucharistic Revival; the gift of the Eucharistic, what the Church teaches and what it means to us as Catholics; and our response to the Eucharist, how we are to properly receive and live this great from our Father in Heaven. Following the talk, we will then have Eucharistic exposition and adoration in the Church until 8:30pm. We hope that you will be able to join us!
